Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so
that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the
word. The LWML meets on the second Thursday of the month during

reach out in mercy and compassion to those in need, in the clear name of
Christ and His Gospel, according to the beautiful Lutheran confession of
the faith. LCMS World Relief has sought to "make a world of
difference" in the lives of people who have been touched by need, whether
because of war or natural disaster or because of oppressive poverty.
